Puulle ei ilmeisesti löydy suomenkielistä vastinetta. Ei löytynyt myöskään muilla kielillä (englanti, ruotsi, saksa) puulle nimeä. Saksankielisillä sivulla mainitaan, että puuta kutsutaan Chilessä olivilloksi.
